Individual Match Tickets (IMTs) are available to fans during the last-minute sales phase, online and over the counter at the FIFA Ticketing Centres.

Individual Match Tickets (IMTs): tickets for a specific match. These tickets are available for all matches of the competition.   

Individual Match Tickets are available in categories 1, 2, 3 and 4 (category 4 available only for residents of Qatar online on FIFA.com/tickets), as well as Obstructed View Tickets and the Accessibility Tickets category. 

During the first come first served sales period of Sales Phase (2), only Individual Match Tickets (IMTs) were available to fans.

Which ticket products were available during the random selection draw of Sales Phase (2)? 

During the Random Selection Draw of Sales Phase (2) the following types of tickets were available to fans: 

•    Individual Match Tickets (IMTs) 
•    Supporter Tickets (STs) 
•    Conditional Supporter Tickets (CSTs) 
•    Four-Stadium Ticket Series (FSTs) 
 
Individual Match Tickets are explained above. Below are the descriptions of Supporter Tickets/Conditional Supporter Tickets and Four-Stadium Ticket Series: 
 
Supporter Tickets (STs): National team supporters could apply for Supporter Tickets for the group stage matches played by their national team between Match 1 and Match 48.  
Supporter Tickets were available in categories 1, 2 and 3, as well as in the Accessibility Tickets categories for all ticket products except Sensory Rooms (which were only available as Individual Match Tickets).  

Conditional Supporter Tickets (CSTs): National team supporters could apply for Conditional Supporter tickets available for the four second round matches that could potentially be played by their national team in the Round of 16, the Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals, the 3rd Place Match and the Final.   

The validity of this ticket product is subject to the respective team chosen by the ticket purchaser qualifying for the specific match of the second round for which the ticket purchaser has tickets. As soon as their team is eliminated from the competition, and if the ticket purchaser has purchased any other Conditional Supporter Tickets to attend further subsequent second-round matches, the validity of these tickets will cease to exist.   
FIFA Ticketing would then make a refund for all matches that the ticket purchaser could not attend due to the elimination of their team. FIFA Ticketing will retain 40 QAR as a refund fee and refund the remaining amount to the ticket purchaser in Qatari Riyals (QAR) within thirty (30) working days. The refund will be processed to the same payment card used by the ticket purchaser to pay for these tickets and under no circumstance will the refund be processed to any other payment card.   

Conditional Supporter Tickets were available in categories 1, 2 and 3, as well as well as in the Accessibility Tickets categories for all ticket products except Sensory Rooms (which were only available as Individual Match Tickets).  

Four-Stadium Ticket Series (FSTs): Ticket packages for those who want to attend one match on a selected number of matchdays while visiting four different stadiums of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. FIFA has made several Four-Stadium Ticket Series available, each with a different combination of matches and stadiums. Fans were able to choose which of the packages correspond(s) to their wishes and travel plans.  
Four-Stadium Ticket Series were available in categories 1, 2 and 3, as well as well as in the Accessibility Tickets categories for all ticket products except Sensory Rooms (which were only available as Individual Match Tickets). 
 
Which ticket products were available during Sales Phase (1)? 

During Sales Phase (1) the following types of tickets were available to fans: 

•    Individual Match Tickets (IMTs) 
•    Team Specific Ticket Series (TSTs) 
•    Four-Stadium Ticket Series (FSTs) 

Individual Match Tickets and Four-Stadium Ticket Series are explained above. Below is the description of Team Specific Ticket Series:  

Team Specific Ticket Series (TSTs): A series of match tickets to support a specific national team of the customer’s choice, which allows the customer to watch three (TST3), four (TST4) or seven (TST7) matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. The TST purchased guarantees the customer tickets to matches of such rounds of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ included in the specific TST package purchased by the customer, regardless of whether the national team itself qualifies for such rounds. The respective packages contain the following:  

TST3: comprising only the three group-stage matches played by the national team of the customer’s choice.  
TST4: comprising the three group-stage matches played by the national team of the customer’s choice and a round-of-16 match.  
TST7: comprising the three group-stage matches played by the national team of the customer’s choice, a round-of-16 match, a quarter-final, a semi-final and the final.  
TSTs were available in categories 1, 2 and 3 as well as in the Accessibility Tickets categories.

No. Supporter Tickets were offered for each individual group match of the participating national teams. Therefore, national teams’ supporters could request Supporter Tickets to attend the first, second and/or third group match played by their national team.

The price of Supporter Tickets for the first group match of Qatar includes a premium for the opening match, as Qatar will be playing in the opening match. An opening match premium is also added to the Supporter Tickets for the first group match of the team facing Qatar in the opening match (I.e. Ecuador).

The FIFA Ticketing Centre will then refund the Conditional Supporter Tickets for all matches that the Ticket purchaser was unable to attend due to the elimination of his team. FIFA Ticketing will retain QAR 40 as a refund fee and will refund the remaining amount to the Ticket purchaser in Qatari Rials (QAR) within thirty (30) working days. The refund will be processed to the same payment card used by the Ticket purchaser to pay for the Tickets and under no circumstances will the refund be processed to another payment card.

Team Specific Tickets are series of match tickets to support a specific national team of the customer’s choice, which allows the customer to watch either three (TST3), four (TST4) or seven (TST7) matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. The TST purchased guarantees the customer tickets for matches of such rounds of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ included in the specific TST package purchased by the customer, regardless of whether the national team itself qualifies for such rounds. Information about how many tickets and which matches are included in each TST series can be found in the table below and on FIFA.com/tickets.

No, irrespective of your nationality and the country in which you reside, you could choose any national team provided that you declared yourself as a supporter of the relevant national team within the ticket application process.

Please note that in order to recognise the establishment of fan clubs by Participating Member Associations (PMAs), PMAs could request from FIFA the implementation of their own PMA fan club restrictions, allowing the application exclusively to those PMA supporters registered within the PMA fan club. In such case, an individual could apply for Supporter Tickets and Conditional Supporter Tickets if the individual qualifies as a recognised supporter of such Participating Member Association (PMA). In the cases where a PMA implemented the fan club restrictions, an individual is a recognised supporter if such individual has the membership of the official PMA supporters club.

A PMA could define existing membership rules that needed to be met by ticket applicants in order to be considered as a recognised supporter of that PMA.

Yes, the Team Specific Ticket Series for Qatar and Ecuador includes the opening match. As stated in the “Ticket prices” section, the prices for the TST for Qatar and Ecuador were higher than for other TST Series due to the addition of an opening match premium. For Team A2, the opening match premium has been added after the Final Draw once the participating team has  been revealed.

Yes, the Team Specific Ticket Series comprising seven tickets (TST7) for any team includes a ticket for the final, regardless of whether your chosen team advances to the final.

Conditional Supporter Tickets comprising tickets for the second-round matches will remain conditional upon your team qualifying for the respective round of the tournament corresponding to the ticket purchased. Please note that Participating Member Associations’ supporters were able to apply for the 3rd place match and the final, keeping in consideration that the Participating Member Association will only play one of the two matches.

No, the Team Specific Ticket Series comprising three and four tickets (TST3 and TST4) for any team does NOT include a ticket for the final. This remains the case regardless of whether your chosen team advances to the final or any round of the tournament not included in your TST Series.

It will not be possible to add any additional matches of your chosen team to a TST3 or TST4. Furthermore, a TST3 or TST4 for any team does NOT grant any type of option to add a ticket for the final or any round of the tournament not included in your TST, regardless of whether your chosen team advances to such rounds of the tournament.

No, the Team Specific Ticket Series comprising three and four tickets (TST3 and TST4) only include the tickets contained in the original TST purchased. It will not be possible to add any additional matches of your chosen team to a TST3 or TST4. There is also no option to purchase additional tickets for later rounds, regardless of whether your chosen team advances to the final or any round of the tournament not included in your TST Series.

No, having purchased Supporter Tickets for your chosen national team does not give you any priority to purchase tickets for any further rounds of the competition.

If your chosen team is eliminated and your Team Specific Ticket Series (TST) includes rounds after your chosen team has been eliminated, your TST will remain valid for such round or rounds, depending on the TST product chosen, to follow the team that progresses into the next round of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ as indicated below.

No. If your chosen team is eliminated at the end of the group stage, your Team Specific Ticket Series will remain valid for the round-of-16 match featuring the winner of your chosen team’s group.

All Conditional Supporter Tickets are conditional upon the national team qualifying for the respective match.
